Privacy on sverige.fyi

Here we describe what data the service uses, why it is needed, and how to contact us.

Optional visitor statistics

If you consent, we use PostHog within the EU for optional visitor statistics. If a technical error occurs on the page, we store the error message and where in the code it occurred. We use no cookies or personal profiles and keep the data for at most 12 months.

You can change your choice or request deletion at any time.

Improve sverige.fyi

If you choose this, we use PostHog within the EU to analyse clicks and scrolling and reconstruct how a visit unfolded. This helps us find problems and make the site easier to use. Public text, images, the map and interactions are visible in replay. What you type and private forms are excluded. Replay does not include console messages or network request contents. No personal profiles are created.

Reconstructed visits have a retention period of 30 days. The underlying data is deleted automatically after the retention period expires.

You can change your choice at any time in Settings. When you withdraw either consent, we stop collection and request deletion of all statistics and reconstructed visits associated with your previous ID. Any remaining consent continues with a new random ID. Queued deletion is not confirmed as complete. IDs rotate automatically after 30 days at the latest without being linked; your current ID cannot locate previous IDs. Contact privacy@sverige.fyi if deletion cannot be confirmed.

IP address

Your IP address is needed for the page to reach you, as on any website. We keep no logs of it ourselves and do not use it to recognise you.

The suppliers that operate the site for us process it to deliver the pages.

Newsletter

With your consent, we use your email address to send updates about sverige.fyi through Resend. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter. Contact us if you would like your details deleted.
