Sverige FYI Rankings Residents' view Safety

Municipalities where most residents report violent-crime problems 2025

Violent crime is one of ten issues Statistics Sweden asks residents to grade by how big a problem they are in their own neighborhood, alongside vandalism and disruptive traffic. This list ranks municipalities by the share who see a problem, worst first — a measure of what residents experience, not of reported crime. Nationally the average is 36%; the 2025 survey drew answers from 159 municipalities.
